Yes, and I see what your saying. But you're making it sound like cost per CC. Dynos probably won't happen, I wouldn't think. I was talking with a friend who builds engines the other day about setting up a stand to try and put a load on an engine for tuning. Maybe set one up to measure thrust. I've seen one for measuring thrust at MMI in Orlando. But you had to put the whole ski in a tank. Maybe set up a small tank for just a pump, then have the midshaft out of the tank and the engine on a table. I just want to see the EME1200 on adyno since they claim 250hp right? Sorry for jumping on your ass dude, just thought you were going a different direction.

Well besides the major derail, I agree with pro south that comparing a stroker (powermouse) to the jm isn't a very even comparison, I do see where the other guy is coming from since they are similar in price. But who cares about the dyno, because everyone's setup is different. Best way is ride em and read reports on here.

I haven't rode the powermouse, I know I am very very happy with the cost to power ratio on my jm781, but my next setup will either be a jm828 or a php 898.

If this forum has taught me anything it is that stand up jetskis is the only gas powered sport where hp numbers don't matter...
