Joe and Chris Grace's seadoo spark powered Krash Footrocket

put a bone stock 61x in there in one man hour and have the same power LOL definatly a feat of accomplishment to put the spark motor in there, but i'd have used the spark for a standup tow truck and tossed in the 61x

Finally someone trying to give options to the riders facing 2 stroke bans. I think its awesome. I'm anxious to see some flatwater results out of the 110hp version. Chris, what is the weight difference of the 110hp spark engine vs a comparable powered 2 stroke?

That defeats the purpose of innovation in the industry. We didn't build it to put the 2 stroke out of business by any means. We built it to offer an Eco/cost effective friendly alternative that will be able to be used on lakes and if tuned, ultimately in the freeride industry. We believe it will be cost effective because these Sparks flew off the showroom floor last year and the demand is so high that the engines will become a dime a dozen in the near future. Also, how many families come in and buy Seadoos every year and have children that see stand ups and fall in love? A lot is the answer. As all the major players in the stand up industry have, or have started to, slowly back out we believe this could at the very least spark (no pun intended) ideas about positive growth in the sport amongst not only freeriders, but the average everyday consumer.

Thank you mate, the spark Ace engine with all its internals weighed about 28lbs more than a typical 701cc with bpipe, waterbox, and internals.

well, i think i'd just move to a place i could ride, instead of having something built that i wouldnt enjoy riding. every day i see somebody bring out a ski and i say to whoever i'm with, if i had to go back to riding that kind of ski, id just hang it up.

I think its cool they tried this with a 4 stroke. Weight seems to be the name of the game today in freeride, another 30 pounds in a small hull makes a big difference!

the long arm of the EPA gets longer every year man. Naiive voters keep increasing their power to the point that I believe you will have to move out of the country to avoid them. Pretty soon we will be the United States of the EPA

How can you say you wouldn't enjoy riding something you've never ridden? You have no basis to make that type of assumption. As I said before, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, in order to form an opinion, at least test the product first.

Lol, you guys are acting like scared children. I do not advocate doing away with 2 strokes. I have no intentions of using a spark engine in my personal ski. But why bash on a new idea. There is a market for them, it might not be you or anyone in your riding group, but their are people who want options.

@Matt Jones I am dying to test ride it with the tune and I know Chris is dying to flip it. Will happen very soon.
