Running a dry pipe on that surf ski
That is what it was originally called!!!!!!!!!!Also I guess I have to start saying "Rickter invert" instead of backflip.
Joe typically ran a 62T with Single Carb with Ported cylinders by RIVA if not mistaken. What type of driveline are they running here?
Many people ran them. Just knowing they were going to blow couplers and lord mounts. That pipe makes great power. This was early on in his career. He was still running stock hoods as well.I just noticed that and was wondering to myself it that means it is in fact possible to get a dry pipe to survive big hits, or (more likely) he fixed and replaced a lot of chambers.

Nope. I ran same setup but with a BPipe... ran great... not great for chasing boats and long distance cruising. That's a weird set up no? A motor designed for twin carbs but only running one?
Rick Roy ran same setup as well....he won a few world titles with this setupThat's a weird set up no? A motor designed for twin carbs but only running one?
I had no idea that set up was even a thing. Just to clarify when you say 62t you mean it was a 62t case/61x cylinder or a full 62t motor and then what intake?Nope. I ran same setup but with a BPipe... ran great... not great for chasing boats and long distance cruising.
