This hull has been passed around a bit before it ended up in my garage. I saw it posted on Facebook and quickly abondoned another rocker project in favor of this one that I thought would be less work.
It looked really nice in photos, less so in person but I bought it anyways.

Sweet. What are your plans with it? Transferring your SJ's parts to it?

Once I got it home I found the tubbies where delaminating, there was a nice hole in one side and the turf was covering up a bunch of problems.
I have now stripped it all off along with the tubbies and am slowly addressing each issue.

This is just intended to be a quick (and ugly) surf hull while I polish put my other turd so I am pulling insperation from one of my favorite skis, JoeB's surf shark.

This was going to get a white bottom and a shark mouth like the ski above. Then something happened, I bought another hull and now this will be getting sold.
I decided to just go black on the bottom deck and then will do a scallop on the front in black to cover up the glass work on the nose. Here's where it sits currently.

I did the unthinkable, and bought a Rickter. Probably a build thread coming, maybe.

Wishing I had done the shark mouth on the front but then I'd have to keep it.
Now I have to mount the pole bracket, install a hood seal and turf and then it will be for sale and ready for someone to shred.

The wide tray left the ends of my front foothold exposed so I added a piece of fabric. This is one of those only for me details. The want to ride this thing is strong, my new hull should be here Monday.
