I purchased this exhaust system from John Bozak / jrfreestyle that was displayed to be used but in excellent good running condition. After receiving the item and looking at the header pipe I noticed it had been heavily ground and modified in the mounting holes where they were ground out twice the diameter of the original mounting holes and the water jackets at “some point” have been fIlled with an epoxy and then ground again. Upon receiving I had noticed a lot of grinding shavings inside and all over this item also. I took photographs and sent them to him questioning these flaws in the item. He immediately offers for me to return the items for a full refund if I was not happy I agreed to this! and offered to pay the return shipping!! A day or two later he retracts his offers and completely ignores settling this poor transaction.

For the recorded I was willing to do full refund once I received the pipe back. Which he was not satisfied with. I also offered to give him some money back for this situation which he also was not satisfied with. Tig/Dave didn’t even give me 24hrs to settle this just decided to slam me (including having his friends harass me with emails.)

Please settle this John, you have been unresponsive to me. I will pay the shipping to return to you no problem. I paid you $1,150 for this when everyone knows what retailer price is. You openly admitted in recorded text that you should’ve disclosed the damages /modifications to this header. I will agree the system is most likely usable but not presentable or trustworthy and the $50 refund was unacceptable after offered a full refund if not satisfied. For a $400 difference I will gladly buy new and not deal with parts that are unreliable in my opinion.

I never said via text that this pipe had damages. I did say to you that I understood that the bolt holes had some modification. This pipe was used on my ski & worked perfectly. The pictures showed exactly what this pipe looked like & was sold as “used” in good condition. I don’t appreciate your friends harassing me via email and you slamming me online for this. If you are not happy with this used purchase, I told you I would refund your money once I received this pipe back in its original packaging & in the same condition I sent it to you. You were not happy with this option & wanted your money back without returning the pipe first. Your option would not be acceptable to anyone nor any store you would buy from. Maybe you should consider reselling it yourself to recoup the money & buy “new” if you don’t want to go that route of returning to me first. I will not be responding further publicly. John... I have been nothing but respectful to you in all of our conversations. I did consider selling the exhaust system to recoup the money to buy new but I wouldn’t feel it would be a honest and fair transaction. Ask @OnFireForJesus as all can check with him and my last transaction I had. I refunded him 100% because I felt it was an unfair deal I discovered it was damaged before I shipped it. I explained the situation completely and honestly and he was fully understandable. I strive to maintain an honest name in the sport I strongly feel if you are to sell something used you should disclose any defects or modifications.
