js550 conversion

Hey everyone. I am currently building a js550 650sx conversion. I have a coffman exhaust and waterbox. I believe carb is still stock but that is subject to change. Was wondering what prop I should run? Also is 130# compression decent? Or should I take it apart, hone or bore depending on how bad it is. Leak down tester is on the way. I am also tossing around the idea of a high comp head. Thanks. I should be able to post pics this weekend when I get a day off.
 
  1. Im in the same boat as you. I had a 16* skat prop, sent it to Dave at Impros and had it repitched to 18*. I am running a SBN46 carb, stock pipe with pipe mod. I pulled my motor apart today and the cylinders had some scoring. I think Im going to hone and see if i can smooth it out. While I have the motor out and apart im going to replace th crank seals too.
