First day on it got completely disassembled trying to have this build done freaky fast. Nothing too major planned on this build, just cutting pad back, possible exhaust relocation and a sweet paint job. Here are some before pics...

Are you using the RHAAS kit to put the Yam motor in it?

Just fabbing it from 3/8 aluminum sheeting. Haven't done much research on conversion kits. Decided to chop this ski too... Fiberglassing will occur shortly.

I laid a Yami in there once and I think the motor mounts were too tall if you add a plate in there. I'm pretty sure, but could be wrong on all of it, RHaas uses custom ones and that is why. We were going to grind out the Kawi ones and glass in Yami inserts because if you have to buy his mounts and a coupler it seemed worth it to just get the kit.

Good luck on it. Interested to see if my somestimers is getting worse.
