Js550 vs 650sx: pros and cons?

Hey guys new here so I hope I'm in the right section.

I've been riding my friends js550 lately and now in looking at getting my own standup after many many years of riding all types of sit downs.

His js550 is modded for more power and the same mechanic is selling a nearly identical model that also the same power mods.(wish i could remember what they were, but we got his up to 40+ mph on our first few runs). The price for this is $1200 with no trailer or other accessories. It's fun but still a challenging ride.

another seller has a 650sx, all stock, for $1000.. I know nothing about 650sx's, but I hear they are heavier but more stabile.

What's he prevailing opinions between the two? Is a 550 with more power better than a 650 stock? Is the 650 something I'll tire of due to stability?

650's are not stable. More then a 550 sure, but thats not saying anything. 550's are worth a few hundred bucks in my area, 650's around 800-1000. I can't stand 550's myself.

any narrow body watercraft on water is only relativly stable to each other. Maybe see if you can test ride both of them. Price for the 550 seems a bit high as well even up here in the north were the skies are not as common. If both sellers are stand up ppl there isnt a reason you can all meet up at a lake and test drive them and have a good time.
