Here we go again kawi vs yamaha nvr ending lol

I wasn't making a Kawi Vs Yamaha arguement. It has nothing to do with Kawi. If he had a 650 SN superjet with a pipe, and got the 701 stock, I'd probably say the same thing. I haven't ridden a 650 SJ, but 50cc of displacement doesn't magically make something rip your arms off. It's still stock and tame porting, pipe, carb tuning, etc. It has absolutely nothing to do with Kaw Vs Yamaha. It has to do with how much they detune stock machines.

IMO its the SJ's port timing/pump that is going to make you smile!! Not the 50 extra cc's obviously.

You tell us. Ride it...and let us know!

I will ride it when the snow and ice is gone, Haha. But while I'm waiting I'm going to install some mods. First of all footholds, bars, polespring, hooker impeller and intake.

I went from a stock engine 750 SXi to a stockish superjet this past year and I couldn't be happier. I did add a B pipe before the season was over but even without the pipe the difference in throttle response and low end was night and day. The handling of the SJ was so different I thought I made a mistake the first time out but once I got the hang of it I fell in love.

Not sure why you guys keep babbling about my Avatar. I have a 2004 RN SJ with a 62T 701 motor all stock. Are you guys that are talking up the bottom end on the SJ talking about all stock skis? I'm talking about stock, it's not impressive. I just put in a prop and intake and it is much better w/o all that cavitation from the stock garbage. I have a number of other parts I'm putting on it after Daytona, but until then, the power is not impressive.

And the SJ is much better than the Kawi 750 hull. It is a tank that steers heavy with the nose. The 650sx is much lighter and looser than the 750sx. You can't even compare the 2. I'll take a SXR or 650sx over a 750sx any day. I do not like the 750sx hull at all.

I have done a few mods to this ski now. Shortened pole, new pole spring, straight UMI bars, PJS finger throttle, footholds and new turf.
I have started to tear down the pump for impeller change to a hooker 9/15 and worx 201 intake grate.

Is there any other mod that is a must have? :lmao:

Pics is always fun!

So where should start with the jetting?
75L, 135H, Stock 1.5 n/s, stock 115gr spring?
Everything is stock on the engine.
