FX-1 just bought an FX1----need to know if its a good deal

I just bought an FX1, its got a Riva Red pipe, bilge, ride plate, and maybe a few other stuff. over all a clean clean ski just needs turf. I paid 2300 for it and a trailer, need to know if i got a good deal or overpaid. advice would be helpful!! thanks

In Dallas, that's a little high. 3 years ago I bought a bone stock FX1 for 900 w/ trailer, but that's really really cheap.

It's worth what the market will accept, but without seeing it I bet its a $1800 ski max. You'll enjoy it though, they're a lot of fun. Where do you ride?

You already bought it, so does it really matter? It's a great ski, nice choice.

I know I paid way to much for mine plus I drove 10 hrs to get it. But hey it was worth it to me to have an FX1.

Paid 5100$ for mine, no trailer, no mods, but it did have warranty.

But that was back in '95, and it came right off the show room floor

Of course I've spent that much on it again over the years and then some as needed. It is after all a B.O.A.T. = Bust Out Another Thousand

I'll do it again once Tom21 gets those hulls cranking

i would say no, but it depends if thats what he wants or not

he put a new carb on it (stock size im pretty sure), new chin, pad, and a paint job, that looks average...itd look better with the stock graphics. other than that i dont think its got anything

yeah should be cheaper for stock ski, but superjets rarely pop up here, the only one that are on CL are really expensive or 90-93 650s that look ragged out

It's high but the good part is it has a 701 in it if it is all stock and no one switched it out.

That also means it's never been rebuilt. Could have 200-300 hours on it.
