Just ordered a new life vest! Is it a good one?

After just one outing with my walmart brand life vest, I decided I needed something a little less..... Blah. So I jumped online and looked for something that looks cool.. I found this:

Jw if anyone can tell me if this is a good vest? Also what is the difference in all these non cga life vests? I steered away from them just bc I didn't want to get in any kind of trouble while out riding..

I'll give you guys an update on whether it's worth the mony as soon as it gets here. And I also thought about a brighter color vest but just couldn't find anything that looked like it was worth the money, except this one.

I like it. I wear a jet pilot side entry vest because I like to try hood tricks and don't want the buckles getting caught on or scratching my handle pole or hood.

The hyperlite vest is nice i have the same style but all black and grey but its too small let me know if anyone wants a small

I have a neoprene vest, it absorbs water and gets heavy...I don't wear it anymore...

I'm wondering if the neoprene is the cause of that or not. From what ive read, neoprenes main difference from nylon is that it will hold in body heat and it's softer. I hope it doesn't get heavy...

Bart's is a very nice place to shop for water sports,local store to me. You'll be happy with the vest as long as it is the right fit. I've got one now almost identical aside from the color scheme that is just a little to big after getting wet and ive got a raw spot on my neck and under arm. If you get it and it's to big I'd try like crazy to return it and get the right size.

Just an update. I'm out at the lake now and i am loving this vest so far. Perfect fit, looks good, doesn't rub, plenty bouyant enuf.... I love it and so far id highly recommend if

I am in need of a new vest because I got a little bigger over the winter (muscles not fat haha). I currently have a neoprene one & would like to get another slender vests. I saw the a-10 but that's too small and heard it doesn't keep a person afloat. I found this one and looks like there is more bouant material. Does anyone think it would be good?

Non-CGA vests don't float you as well.. wakeboarders wear them because they allow you to move around more freely for tricks/spins/grabs and the like.

I have both.. dont really favor one over the other

I like the look of that vest. I'm glad i went with a CGA vest if the difference is how much it floats u because as tired as i get after riding, sometimes I just have to lay in the water.... I domt think I would want something that wouldnt hold me up well.
