Just ordered a new life vest! Is it a good one?

non csa vest

I us a liquid force non cga comp vest. Its great for the feeling of not having a bulky vest on and fits extremely well with no buckles or zippers. the down fall is it does not float you very well. It does float but when learning backflips and rolls it does not make it easy to get out from under the ski while trying to roll it back over. great for just free riding but not advised for learning big tricks.

Depends on your weight. A CGA vest will float you, a non-CGA vest will float you enough for your friends to drag you above the surface.

So I am thinking of just getting two vests then, one for flat water days (unapproved) and then a CGA one for the surf days. They are on MAJOR sale right now plus the free shipping AND found a coupon code. B-)

I have had neoprene and nylon vests. Call me weird but I still prefer nylon. My favorite (I'm on my second one - first died after 4 yrs of hard use) is the Jetpilot Apex side entry vest. CGA approved and never seems to get in my way.

FYI: I got my recent one off Amazon. The one I got was prime eligible so it showed up on my doorstep in 2 days.
