SX/SXi/SXi Pro Just picked this up.....

So far I've cleaned up the intake manifolds from casting slag with a Dremel. Used a countersink drill bit big enough to get rid of the barbed material in the spark plug holes and polished the combustion chambers. Had my boss bore the intake manifold to about 42mm and the the exhaust to about 44mm (as close as possible anyway). As soon as I can figure out how to get my cylinders off I'll polish the exhaust ports with a Dremel and I already have the head pipe injection port welded over. All I need to do now is change out my reeds, re-drill the water injection port to an 1/8" hole and re-route my exhaust cooling lines. That should be all for the engine, the intake grate still needs to be done but that's about a 10 minute job. There is one more exhaust mod I was told about. I guess if you have an additional 4" of pipe welded onto I think the stinger you get a better transfer of the powerband to the bottom end. I might try that too after I get this thing together and test it out.
 
Actually there are a few of it on here, the link in my signature will take you to my build. My only set back is the one cylinder stud, it's severely seized to the cylinder and really putting a halt on everything :no:
