Hey guys fairly new to standups just chewed up my impeller on my 650sx. All it’s got is a sbn 44 plan on doing a pipe maybe mill head etc. found a 14/19 solas and the product numbers are ke-sc-b. I looked on the website and it says kb are for 650s. What’s the actual difference can I run this impeller? Thanks In advance

The spline length is shallower on a 750 impeller it requires machine work to the back of the impeller to get it to fit a 650 pump. The driveshaft will bottom out in the impeller before the holes for the pump will line up. I don't remember the specs but the impeller has to be set back in the pump some for the pump hole to line up with the hull.

Just find an actual 650 impeller, several on ebay. The Solas KA-SC-i 13/18 works real well. The old school straight pitch impellers can usually be had cheap and are still WAY better than the aluminum stocker. I have an old Mako straight 16 pitch on mine.

The 750ss/xi driveshaft will fit 650sx hulls. Its an easy way to adapt 750 impellers with minimal cutting.

I put a Skat 10/18 on my old sx and loved it, it was meant for the 650 though so no modding needed. There's a lot of improvements that can be done on the old sx, many are free mods too that just add to the fun of them. After I went nuts on mine, a couple of friends had a stock one that we did comparisons to. Both were 1992, theirs totally stock, mine done up with everything I could do to it, there was a night and day difference in performance. The one fella said he couldn't believe that it's essentially the identical ski but yet mine was so much more powerful. It was actually a lot of fun learning the effects of one mod to the performance of the ski each time I did something else to it. Here is the link to my old build thread, there's lots of fun stuff for you to browse through, what I did and what I learned not to do lol :)
