JP79,The t-4 is a great machine from what im hearing in some of the circles i run in ( t-2 owner myself).a great all around machine ,out of the box .other brands you might get a better overall top speed but everything has its price. The FI is a great feature and it is fairly easy to tune ,no more jetting headaches .but mind you ,you will need to educate yourself in another area. its still the same concept as jetting only now its air to fuel ratios via mapping or ecu.nothing to scary .but say for instance if you decide to throw a pipe and filters on now you will need a programable ignition or fuel module , also now you need a corresponding fuel map with it .most pipe builders will support their products with mapping for these but modify your engine and you will need to A:custom map it your self via laptop and A/F meter B: take it to a knowledgable engine builder for a custom map or dyno tune .all this is not needed for a stock machines and some bolt on mods ,this is only applicable when trying to squeeze performance out of these machines via serious engine modifications or clutching. The sxs are great fun and extremely capable machines out of the box and are fairly user friendly .you are not going wrong by considering the t-4 .good luck
