If this helps, a Yamaha 701-1200 starter motor will bolt onto the front mounting housing of a Kawasaki starter. The starter motor itself is the same for Kawasaki and Yamaha, so if you have a Yamaha one and your Kawasaki is burned out, you can simply swap a Yamaha motor and you'll be in business.
