Chris Newmiller at Newmiller Machine, he hooked up a full surf/freeride port job, including working the transfers over real nice, and resurfaced the gasket faces for about that same price. I don't want to quote out his prices though. Super clean work, I send him all my machine work as well. MCN6 on PWCtoday.com, but I don't think he is on this forum.

Start with a small pin cylinder with the low port height. My 750 hits pretty hard for a little engine. I had a SP couch cylinder to start with (the ports are 2mm higher) and it pulled really well, but the lower port height made a nice difference in the low to mid range. I lost a good 2mph with the new cylinder (all other parts stayed exactly the same), but it was worth it. It's currently getting dropped into my Q8, I can't wait!

It is a small pin 750. Reason Im porting is I got a ADA girdled head and you have to pull the cylinder. So I figured while I have it apart, why not.

I have never understood why people spend money on an aftermarket head to run pump gas. The stock head can be milled to run pump gas compression all day long...

What am I missing here? Is it just the bling?

I am running 28cc domes and it is at 165psi (Pump gas). It is convenient to change domes instead of having different heads. Also I am not a big fan of the stock dome shaping so aftermarket head benefits there too. On top of it all it looks nicer than stock.

I had a guy off of the x build me a ported 750 and it was dirt cheap! I had the engine checked out with local shop and they told me a was amazing work too! If you have any interest I can give you his contact info.

Also this is going in a BOB and will get banged around alot. So the added strength of a girdled head is also a plus.
