Kenny Keepers for the SXR

Hey guys, I just got my KK's for my SXR today, and checked out BLowsion's instructions. I am not doubting they provided the right instructions, but I want to check with folks on here who have these installed in the SXR.
The Blowsion instructions show to install them on the rear mounts, and all the other posts I have seen here show them on the front mounts- that may be because the majority on here are on SJ's.
Logic (to me) would dictate that if the purpose of them is to prevent the motor from shifting forward if you stab the nose too hard or invert and slam, then they need to be on the front mounts, to keep the plate from sliding FORWARD. It seems that the only thing that it would help if they were installed on the rears, would be if you bottomed out real hard.
I want to install these before Daytona, cause I plan on doing a lot of stabs and want to start working on BR's, so any help anyone can provide in this department would be appreciated. Also, if you have any install/installed pics of the KK's on a SXR, that'd be ideal.

They go on the rear mounts. I do not have pics right know. When installed the rolled lip of the motorplate is between the notch in the keeper so it can't go very far in either direction. I could email pics on Saturday if you need them.

If you could, that'd be awesome. Do I need to take the pipe and carbs out in order to install these things? It looks like a tight fit.

yes, the do go on the rear mounts however, the engine craddle will actully start to ride up over them. Check with Proformance1 on his set up. he actually used longer bolts and a spacer to raise the KK's up to prevent the ride over problem. He also made a set on a CNC machine that were thicker.

They do go on the rear. They won't fit on the front. I have actually worked on quite a few designs for the front or rear, they are thicker, but the Blowsion ones are still the best I have found. I do suggest keeping an eye on them and flipping them over after they wear out. Hopefully I'll come up with something by the time mine are shot next year. Here is a shot of mine installed.
