Its October again so it's time to watch the famous DJ Korn film of Kevin Bruins that helps us all remember the good friend we lost and the good times we shared.

Never met Kevin Bruins, though most local buds I've met knew him well. A life lost on great lakes big water over communication failures and a wife and children left behind.

Never ride big water alone and have a system for when things go bad. RIP Kevin Bruins
