I am looking for a web site for kids to become legalally "licensed" on skis , my daughter is all about my stand up, and I have heard there is some site with a test or something. located in Kansas .
Thanks !

hmmmmmmm. Got me beat, there are boater safety classes with tests but not usually online, because how would you monitor it. For instance you could take the test for her and then wala she can ride. never heard of such a thing, but hey we aren't in kansas anymore. haha

I don't think those classes hurt anyone... Hell at the very least at least you'll learn a new way to tie some line.... And they are nice to have too so you don't look like the dumb ass out on the water, and you can answer questions for others and really feel like a big ol' bad ass!

sure, but it sux for those of us who have been boating 30 years, and even took a class back before they issued licenses. Now I have to pay and sit 8 hours in a class I'm sure I could teach?

That's how it's done in Alabama. You used to have to take an actual class and test but then they made it so that the boater's license is useless.

I hear that. I've grown up around boats and the water my whole life. I've taken the classes just because my dad thought it would be good for me.... And if we made some old salts go to the classes or even just take the test, it would be worth it to have some of these numb nuts who come flying by in their new bayliner by people who are just 10' away swimming off the beach......

Also they should teach a hands on class of how to launch a boat, and how to back up a trailer.... That would take away some good laughs, but there will always be flunkies out in the world, so enough laughs still....
