i have a set of kiehin carbs that are dark red in color are they 38s or 42s is their any way to tell by looking at them

Sorry Bill, I don't remember that far back, I think 42mm? I ran them way back in '94-'95 when I raced the flatnose 61X cases with a pair on a protec intake w/ adaptors.

Probably 38s, the 42s I have seen are blue.

just measure them, i have blue ones that are 38 and 42, and a red one that is 42
