Blasphemy!

He may be getting old, but he can still rip! The zep reunion in 07 was great! I'm waiting on the official DVD release :fingersx: I don't know if you've heard about the documentary dvd coming out this summer, but it should be pretty cool too. http://www.sonyclassics.com/itmightgetloud/

I like some new stuff too. Remember that I'm a stagehand, so I've seen hundreds of bands from all genres & eras. I actually have a little break between shows, but the next one is Coldplay next week

Alot of new stuff is just retooled old stuff & old stuff is retooled older stuff. I was listening to some music from the 1920's last week & the lyrics were almost identical to many things that have come out in 2009. Sex, Love, Love's lost, Drugs, Religion, Partying, whatever, the more things change, the more they really stay the same.

werd.... just too many people get stuck in the classic rock thing and never venture beyond that... and did not know you were a stage hand or I forgot... You know what's up then. I like everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Amon Amarth, just hate overpalyed raidio music that was shoved down my throat, ie. Led Zep, Boston, all that crap that would be good if they had not ruined it.

Zep if my favorite band, but I mostly listen to live zep. I have about 100 of their shows & no 2 are the same. Lots of improv and variation. I love their studio albums too, but don't listen to them as much & some of their songs do get overplayed on the radio.
