congrats! I saw that last drifting vid. Why did you guys need to hammer out that one fender? don't remember seeing you hit anything.. I was also keeping an eye on my rambunctious 2 year old so maybe I missed a smash?

Nah it was because the tubular arms I installed had so much angle the tire was rubbing on the fender horribly. It hadn't been rolled properly at the event. Since has been fixed haha.

Cluttering the the thread some more, but oh well no updayes on the ski other than parts arriving. Spent yesterday in the garage installing Ohlins on my Grom. Currently in the woods abusing it now

Got married last weekend so no work done on the Krash. But at least I have most of the parts collected. Maybe next weekend I'll work on installing the engine.

The yellow ones have a stock engine at 125cc. The white one has a big bore I think 180cc or something.

I feel like a 'tard, but wherever I put the waterbox it seems like something won't fit. Exhaust hose too short or B pipe too close, etc.

If anyone has any, could you post your 50 Cal waterbox/engine bay setup? It would be much appreciated!

Are you using the kavinci waterbox and hoses? The kavinci box is easy to put in backwards. I have 2 people in my riding group that did it

I flipped mine 6 times before deciding what was up or down, with breathers in it is a VERY tight fit

Why not is my question? Groms are fkn awesome and it is more of an adventure. To say you did it, laugh, shake your head at the silliness and have fun with friends. After back surgery and two knee surgeries I have fallen off enough motocross bikes to have my fill. Besides, $3k on a dirtbike is a good down payment on a PV engine. I don't want to offroad on a motorcyce that bad.

Edit: oh damn looks like it is backwards lol. I did it with the back slope like the front of the hull as putting it in there vertically put a lot of pressure on the hoses. Will have to revisit. thanks for the pics



The long right side exhaust hose is too short. Someone cut it too far up. Pisses me off.



Good progress today though. New ADA coupler installed, CF flywheel tool made that a freakin breeze. Engine and exhaust are just chillin in there for now for fitment.




Measured how long the straps for the fuel tank need to be when stretched, front is 29.75in and the rear is 30.25in. Looks like I'll need to install 3 UFO inserts for the tank.





Still not sure how best the CF ebox mount works. Seems like some .75in spacers on the outer two holes and just bolt into some UFO inserts would do the trick. It might be for sale soon if I don't use it. I didn't realize it required you to drill through the hull to mount it and I don't want my dash full of bolt heads.

I'm definitely not a saint, but I am all about spreading the motorsports joy. Whether it be two wheels, four wheels or no wheels. Life is way too short to assume things about others. My methods might not be the best, but I want to share the stoke with other like-minded people. Trust me, you don't want my life and the grass is not greener. Everyone has real shyte going on in their life, but no need to dwell on it. We all love motorsports so why not share the connection. I think this banter you started is far more detrimental than posting some offroading excitement.

It figures lol. We must have shoved it in there all kinds of ways. I eventually fell on the way I have it in the pics because the back slant of the waterbox fit the same slant of the hull rocker. But the pics you and @ajmps1 look right. This is my first build ever so the mistakes happen. And that waterbox is super ambiguous haha. Thanks for clearing that up guys!!

Nah it's not your fault the Krash box is bisexual. I have a buddy with one correctly installed backwards in his rickter lol it fits perfect. Most waterboxes are pretty clear cut which way they go. This on isn't
