Video Parts

Wanted to start a thread to keep myself on top of the project and document the whole process from ordering to on the water.

I sold my KTM and put my down payment on a 50 Cal Flatwater hull Stage 2 kit (hull, pole, steering, pump, etc) from Chris at Krash last Friday (May 27th). I was told it should arrive in about 2 months, if that holds true I should be receiving it end of July/beginning of August. Right in the heat of the summer haha.

Planning on installing the Jet Maniac 718 with a b-pipe out of my B1 (1200cc Blaster project next?...hmm) for a solid all around small engined flatwater/freeride ski. Been riding lakes, but hope to do more ocean riding trips in the future.

I'm a relative n00b, I've been riding for a year now on my 2011 SXR. Started running buoys a few months ago. Blaster is super fun jumping waves, but I think I'd rather go fast on it and leave the freeriding for a stand up. I used to ride dirt bikes, but after the dirt hurt a lot I've been enjoying the hell out of jet skiing.

Conroe for farting around and run buoys at 3 Palms MX.

Planning on running the Region 5 race series as much as work will allow and hitting up the coast soon.

Anywhere outside the city limits of surfside up to San Luis pass. Launch from the beach with a cart. We usually just drive the beach until we see an area with decent breaks and setup there. There's several spots in galveston as well, but I like surfside better.

By the way, that was a nice bike. I'm sure you were a little sad to let it go.

Sweet!

I need a cart dangit. I don't understand why they are so expensive. I'll have to keep an eye out for a used one I suppose.

The KTM was a super fun bike, loved how it looked too. But after a bunch of sportbikes it didn't make my ass pucker enough. I think a freestyle ski should work just fine ;)

Yay updates!

@chrisgrace with Krash has been great keeping in contact with me about the build. The hull is still over in Asia, but looks like it is coming along nicely!

If all goes well, I will be using an ET 967 PV engine instead of my JM 718. I rode a 1200cc Rickter very briefly and fell in love with the power. It was too much for me honestly. I almost pulled the trigger on the ET last week, but my SXR rebuild needs more than originally planned so phht to the ballsy freestyle build for now.

Anyway, here are some build pics they sent me.

Nice! I'm tweakin out waiting for my hull. Looks like we will be in the same shipment
It's been tough waiting for sure haha...I think there will be 5-6 in the shipment from what I heard from another member.

Please post up some flat water footage once you get it. I'm finding it incredibly difficult to locate some decent flat water footage with these hulls. I wish Krash would put a little more effort into product marketing videos like Rickter does. I'm dying to see these things in action!
Will do for sure! I have an active YouTube channel that I spend a lot of time on. I'm going to do a whole series on getting this hull to being on the water with it.

Im getting ready to order mine this week. I cant wait to see yours come together. Mine will probably have a little longer build time with some custom color options

It's been 3 months for mine so far. It's probably finished, but they are waiting for others to get done for a big shipment.

I had a deadline, but that is now unattainable. Disappointed, yes, but not surprised. On the plus side it allows me to save for a bigger build.

Maybe ours will be on the same shipment. I was quoted for early September stateside arrival...
