Surfriding Krash Pump Tunnel Scupper Replacement

Location
FL
What are you guys using to replace the older Krash Scupper that is located inside of the pump tunnel?

I have used it for years but it has gotten extra leaky over time so I’d like to find a better option (like a versiplug) that will fit.

Thanks

I glued and bolded the original shut that was a pain in the ass! And bought a thrust scupper ball the big one an drilled new holes u will hit another wall in the back of the ski then with a long tube to the inside of the hull and foamed the tunnel after.
If I have to do it again and did it again on my raptor I would go for the blowsion...thrust is so nice, but there is no tube with the set and after a while the ball is getting stuck.blowsion is compleet and easier to install.and I think the best system on the market what I know it works with a flap good thought true product.

I used the Ocho Coronas Versi plug. It fits right in the hole with the o-rings. I added a tiny bead of silicon just to hold it in place.

I guess i'm a little confused on how you install this without opening the tray. I would think the existing tube with the 90* bend that exits in the pump tunnel would be in the way? Also how do you seal everything up on the inside? My hull is empty right now for a winter freshen up, and I pulled the old turf off, so i guess now is as good of time as any.

I was wrong about 1 thing I said In a previous post,I didn't went with a tube to the firewall. If u drill a hole in the back of the ski u will hit another wall in the hull about 20 cm there is a block and 90 turn for the water true pumphouse scupper, the rest of you ski is a open tunnel so no tube in there. in previous post I was mixed up with my raptor.and I don't think the blowsion will fit the predator or u have to make more adjustments its possible.but now if I think it over is thrust the best option

The photo is from pumptunnel scupper u see the tube I put true and refoamed it with 2compound special foam

ok i think i understand. so there is a hollow area between the back of the ski, and where the pump supper dumps out. essentially, the hull is open at the fire wall, and there is a wall at the pump tunnel supper to direct the water out. So I need to drill from the back of the ski through both walls, install a 2" pipe through, then install the supper. Seems impossible without opening the tray.

Yess Yes your spot onn only the back area is foamed between the two walls. And no you don't have to cut tray! It looks hard but as soon as you drilled the holes you will make it. Just dril a hole and there is no way back and you will find out that when your finished...you learned a new thing and it wasn't that hard to do...but yeah to start drilling that mountain is high...its just polyester box no rocket ship if u need help we are there

Thanks a lot man. Im assuming you just use 2" pvc pipe? what to you use to glue, or secure the pipe in with?
Sorry mate we don't do inches here but mm or cm....I was hard for me to get a tube because u guys use inches over there...I only could get hard pvc tube it's better to use a bit more unbreakable tube because PC is a bit bridal...just buy the thrust ball and measure it and get a tube...u have to re use the old scupper to block of old hole.
Take pump of so that u can see what u are doing true the old scupper hole...get foam out glue the tube in place with the best silicone glue u can get over there. let it dry put ski on it's back, nose in the air make a small hole beside the tube and use waterproof foam u can get in a polyester shop! Do not use to much it will increase in volume like crazy. no normal spray foam out from a can!!!!!!
