I am upgrading my reaper to a 148 solas 2 piece mag pump. I was running a 144 stock pump; I have no idea what driveshaft / mid shaft combo I was running. The 148 solas 2 piece mag pump has a WB1 driveshaft installed.
My question is what is the correct driveshaft / mid shaft combo for a 2016 krash reaper? If I had to guess it is superjet mid shaft & superjet driveshaft as the reaper is much shorter than my waveblaster & MX1. The Mx1 correct combo is superjet mid shaft / WB1 driveshaft. I attached a pic of the 148 solas 2 piece pump roughed in the reaper.

Thanks guys - I was pretty certain , but wanted to make sure before I ripped these pumps apart to put different shafts. I have what seems to me a 144 metal pump shoe in the reaper (tried measuring but was difficult) the plan is to install the 148 solas pump and then grind the shoe out where necessary. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Replace the pump seal "packing" as well. And take your time getting it lined up perfect. I think I have some pics on installing mine here:

In action! After riding all of the new hulls with seats over the last few years, MX1, Viper, rockered/chopped blaster, and the Reaper I fell in love with the Reaper. And picked up a new hull at a good price with some paint issues. I haven't been able to find any builds or very much info...

I just finished installing the pump shoe & intake grate on my Mx1. I had to grind the edges of the pump shoe but it was fairly easy getting it to line up. I saw you had some serious fun getting the shoe to line up proper on your reaper when you built it @Quinc
As for me wanting to put the 148 solas pump in the reapers am I correct in saying I just need to grind the 144mm shoe out to 148mm? If it had a bigger tunnel I’d drop a 155 in it and really see if I can’t hurt myself.

Correct just grind out the shoe to match. Torrent makes a 150mm pump that will bolt right in. Need to find out what pump the guy had that flat water fliped his reaper.

Is it even beneficial to run a pump like 150/155 on reaper because the pump tunnel is WAY smaller than the mx1? I’m surprised they don’t make the tunnel on the reaper wider. I figured a 148 was just about maxing out the pump tunnel design on the reaper.

Installed brand new SJ gas tank in the reaper. Used a tigercraft gas tank cradle - epoxied her down inside hull - installed rrp strap hooks / blowsion internal fill pickups- brand new tank straps also. Fired her up for the first time after switching to the TL zelectronic setup and fresh rebuild. Snappy as hell!! First time running a TL setup.

Just waiting on a new set of hood hinges to clear customs (ordered back in January)
Removed old seat and replaced with new updated style as well. Old seat tore my knees up BAD. Was bleeding everytime I rode last summer. Looking forward to this summer!
