Surfriding Krashing into a 50 Cal... Stage 2!

Yup lol i cant switch them around, and to put the hood on, I need to lift up the front of the hood, to slide the prongs into the hood hooks. But i cant lift it high enough because the pole gets in the way lol

Love the gas tank!! How thick is the firewall? I
Planed on mounting my bilge and primer thru it. Where and how did you mount your Ebox?
Its thick, I dont have measurements but my ocd solutions toggle switch was just barely too short so say over 1/4in but under 1/2in. The first hole was my switch hole so I was comitted after that, for the rest of the fittings I drilled a 1/8 pilot and a forstners bit to plane the back side to fit. My ebox was compliments of Chris grace. He wedges them above the foothold and drills through each hole on either side. Im gonna use m8x65 bolts (boltsdepot.com) with flush mount washers from jetworks, ill then bolt my hood straps and an anchor point for the limit rope to those bolts. Clean and symetrical as well as strong. I found myself resting my knee alot on the hood while riding so want to keep things smooth

Awesome thread...was going to pull the Trigger and get one myself but ended up with a Rickter xfs from TC Freerides.....Chris Grace is definitely patient and very informative.....he is a asset to the sport! Hope to pick a crash up as soon as I unload a couple of skis......

^ do it! The surf hull rides amazing. You can definitely cut it loose when you want to but man it holds so nice. Cant wait to surf it

Rides nice and flat, so far feels like it has good recovery, riding with the pole at 35in. I think with riser bars I think itll be perfect, im 5'9 170lbs. Held some leg drags today playing around and at high speed it site down nicely but does walk a touch like any superjet or blaster

OH....how I love waiting!!

Chris and Curtis are both great guys. I was looking at an XFR and Curtis took a lot of time to talk to me and really cared about what I needed.

Well i cut it down partly cause my steering cable wasnt laying where i wanted it and the pole seemed pretty long. At 35 is feels just a hair short for me but its not bad
