Surfriding Krashing into a 50 Cal... Stage 2!

I love it, high speed runs are great, chased a few boats down on the first real run. Turns on a dime for me, but I'm coming from a superjet. I rode my buddy's trinity matrix right after and his tray seemed way too small haha this thing is wide as hell.

My pole length is 39 inches and I feel it's perfect. I'm 6'2 180 and my back doesn't hurt too bad from hunching over after the tank and a half I put through it the first ride.

I will be coming from an FX1 and I am so looking forward to a wider tray.
Its nice and wide but the foot hold do kinda get in the way more than i thougjt they would. Might take mine off for now and cut the heel cup off but not making any rash decision till summer

And the final piece Ive been waiting for. Thrust Industries Head, these things look amazing..

Me? Non yet, ill snap one tonight. Hpe ported and assembled 61x case, +5 adr rebuilt short rod crank, wetjet intake with blackjack 46 and jetworks reeds. Blowsion big bore sleeves ported and installed also by matt. He was not a huge fan of their initial timing so might be playing around with deck hight once its tuned and see what we i have, and as of now stock 144mm mapped pump and 9/15 hooker. Still on my first tank of gas but it comes on hard at 1/2 throttle. Want to play with low speed before lowering cyl deck hight. Which matt suggested i might want to do. I am very happy with his work so far.
Pretty much the same motor as im running over here but with a 48 Novi. Like you say it takes a while to come on but goes like a rocket and keeps pulling right through. Perfect for surf with no noticable fuel usage over a 701.

Nice! When I spoke with art he suggested a 46 because id get a better throttle response and snappier motor compared to running a 48. I have a 48 as well I gyess in the summer I could try it out and see how the motor compares with each carb

Nice, I'm trying to figure out a way to quiet mine down a bit. With the Krash waterbox and a b-pipe this thing is loud as hell.

Have you tried a muffle bearing yet? When you say loud is it out the pipe loud or in the hull loud. I would think some kind of foam installed in the nose and empty space around the water box would absorb some of it. What gas tank are you running?

Yeh a buddy has a 46 on his and he acctually liked the 46 more over a 48. I should really borrow one and see the difference. I'm planning on a 148 pump next (either h20 or most likely solas)

Not yet, it's out of the pipe loud. Makes my buddy's TPE 964 with a TNT pipe sound normal haha I'm running a limited slip 4.7 gal tank.

Yes kavacini box, looks like swiss cheese. No way you could fit a oem sj box in there. Maybe and h20 or xmetal but if your using the limitedslip tank with battery box you have a nice open space to run a resonator. I guess im just used to loud skis.
