LABOR DAY LAMENESS/MADNESS! MILLER MANIACS LOSING THIER MINDS.......................................

labor day was the only day i rode since i was out of town and on the coast where i should be instead of sacramento/trash town. kamakazi chris came out along with our long lost friend glen with his drone cam. glen rides a square nose and used to do the fastest, farthest, biggest rolls i ever seen. i'm bored with what i'm doing on my ski.................................

they are easy and get boring real quick! i'm stepping my game up here shortly. its going to be multiple combos on my new ride or i'll drown trying. i'm sure i was having more fun on my beater SJ doing 300 rolls a weekend off monster boat wakes at windmill cove a few years ago. i just didnt like the 65 minute drive.

Unfortunately, my video doesn't contain any shots from the drone. Glenn and I tried to exchange memory cards between our GoPros but it didn't work out. His Hero3 uses a micro SD card and my Hero2 uses a standard SD card. Hopefully, he'll post a video. I did capture Glenn doing a barrel roll. He also got ticketed by the Sac PD boat cops while unloading for essentially taking too long which was BS.

Christ, they time you guys for launching?

When you guys are stalking a boat wake like that do you know the boat owner and if not what is their attitude towards you guys?

For whatever reason, here the guys with bigger boats will slow way down so we can't play. A lot of times guys on smaller boats will wave me on to get up on it. Older rich guys vs young guys on smaller boats? I donno.

The cops generally don't time us when we launch. But lately the Sac PD boats cops have been hanging around the ramp and enforcing a 200 foot free zone. We used to park/anchor our skis along the beach near the ramp. But now we have to be 200 feet away from the ramp for safety reasons. Glenn wasn't taking a long time to unload his ski and gear. So we don't understand why he was written up. We all try to help each other too when we launch and load up at the end of the day. Like carrying each others gear and ferrying skis to minimize time on the ramp.

I think in general many big boat owners don't seem to mind us. Maybe 50%? @TheBuzzard may have a different opinion. There are some grumpy old captains who have yelled at us. If a boat owner doesn't want us around their boat then they won't generate wakes for us. Some will cooperate, throw us nice wakes and enjoy the show. By now, we know which boats to chase unless there's a new boat cruising through. During the past couple of years, the boat traffic has decreased so not too many boats to chase anymore.
