We just need to keep it as controlled as possible and not let it get out of hand to ensure we don't get bothered. Like not having 30 jetskis on the water at one time zipping and weaving between one another peaking the attention of any authorities that may come around

I may try and make it. Tough call for me as its a big drive. No place lined up to stay either but I'm sure I can find somewhere. Gotta watch the weather and see how I feel towards the end if the week.

If you wanted to come down thursday, I live about half way for you in Cornelius right on Lake Norman. You could crash here Thursday and then the Charlotte crew is rolling out Friday morning.

Crap, just discovered it's a 10+ hr drive for me. Was only expecting 8 hrs. Damn. 660mi, 1320mi roundtrip. 30mpg. 44gal. Let's say 3.25 a gallon. $143 in gas. And a fair amount of rain in forecast.

our weather here is like florida in the summer. It rains almost everyday. Isolated thunderstorms that rain for 15 minutes and then blow over. That's what I'm seeing. They predicted rain all labor day weekend and we got none on the lake. My sunburn can vouch for that...

My jay got hurt a little but I just rented a cabin and driving the jelly bean. This is my third freeride in a a row without a ski/running ski I fell bad about that.
