Water sport productions will be holding a double points two round race july 8-9 at Lake Anna beach marina.
The marina is a great place to have a race and the owners of the marina actually WANT us to be there.
We are going to set out a bigger "get ready for the nationals" style track with added laps for all classes.so step up your workout routine ,you will need it.
There will be a catered cookout after the race sponsored by the Lake Anna rescue squad. just follow Jeff Earls to the food.
Awards will be given out on Saturday Night at an announced ceremony.
Also on a special note,This race will be where the Mark Macachon award will be handed out.Mark was a fellow racer who passed away and every year his parents sponsor a donation to a rider going to Havasu or the Nationals.
New for this event will be the "beginner challenge" all beginners who sign up and pay to race in the regular race will be automatically eligable to run in this race at the end of the day for free.
Two $75.00 gift certificates to Scotts Performance,(one in each class ) will be handed out good towards any Parts Unlimited products. helmets,gloves.gearbags,oil,spark plugs etc.
Freestyle will be big at this event.We hope to draw all the guys from Lake Norman to come on up and set the water on fire again.
$ 100.00 dollar sickest trick award judged by 3 jr riders.
$100.00 to Pancake Pete from Scotts Performance if he can pull off the double barrel roll off of a boat wake.
Supercourse will be run on both days.We have room to set up a good size track.Some of these ski's are approaching the 80 mph mark.45 minutes wide open.Can you handle it? sign up and show us.
Lake Norman was a great event ,let's keep the momentum rolling and set this race off.
I race sport class and i already know we have 9 riders ready to get busy.
