Lake Elsinore?

With all this rain, hoping Lake Elsinore might be decent for a few weeks (months?) this season. That's my closest body of water, but I've never had my ski in there.

I don’t know it’s pretty gross, especially if you’re used to the Colorado River where you can open your mouth when you fall in. Last time I went to Elsinore they were pumping water in it bubbles coming out of pipes in the middle of the lake , I think they run treated waste water into it to dilute it.

That being said on the far west side there are houses where people sun bathe and hang out on the beach.

I think it is the best lake locally, especially in the afternoons when the winds kick a bit, the water level has risen from 24-36" so things are expected to improve greatly. The lake is really nice up until September when the water temps rise. I'd stay off the lake on the weekends, tons of people and cops. The weekdays are really nice. We are down at Granada most Sundays, come on down. Granada has really become a great place to ride.

Rode Elsinore last Thursday, man this lake in the late afternoon in awesome if there is a bit of wind. The mornings suck with the glass conditions and the weekends during summer totally suck with the crowds and water cops.
