Another great day out at Port Sheldon Pier on the east shore of Lake Michigan. 4-7 foot, but there were sets rolling through close to 10. Fall brings in wind that makes conditions like these almost commonplace this time of year. You might recognize the surf rickters, I know I did.

Awesome.

I always live on the wrong coast.

Lived on the West Side of Lake Michigan, some good days with NE Winds.

Now live between Huron and Erie... St Clair can be decent some days.

Sunday was the first time I had met these guys so I don't know much about them. I believe at least one of them is a member here but I can't remember his screen name. I was hoping they might chime in...

Hey,
Murph(cammokid) was on the Blue and black SJ.
Truzski bought one of TC's boats
Derrek Powell bought the other TC RRP and he was the one flipping. It was his first day attempting flips.
I(Chad) was on the silver/charcoal SJ that pancaked a backlip attempt at about 3:50. I was down the shore a ways and didn't realize you guys were filming. Those waves were fun, but pretty choppy and blown out. The only good backflip waves were in about 3-4' of water.

It was killer riding with you guys. Actually, it was just the motivation I needed. My ski is apart right now awaiting the last bit of reinforcement for pancake proofing. Hopefully it will last longer than the one I had out there last year this time...

Murph and I are out till November, but I think Powell and Truzski are hoping to be out there some more the next couple of weekends.
Thanks for the footage! If those waves were out of the north a little more the pier would have cleaned them up a lot better.
