Yea I avoid lakes like that bc of going in circles. Only really ride Lake Michigan surf and then rivers bc you can pretty much do what you want

here is the coordinates of my aunts cottage so if I got her permission we would park in the north beach parking lot and then from there park our skis on her beach. just under a mile and a half ride from the pier.

I live in glen arbor for part of the summer and so im about 5 minutes from GH. Would love to ride with you guys later in the summer once i finish my 550/750! River riding sounds tight i like that idea...wheres the launch point?

I tried launching from the furthest south beach beach at grand haven (Past State Park) I didnt even get the skis off the truck and a cop told me it was not allowed. we did push two skis through the croud on the beach but that was a stroke of luck!! we had a much better experience in muskegon it is a little bit of a drive but way less hassel of getting out on the water, the channel is alot shorter as well my family lives in Spring Lake so we parked skis there over night. a cop stopped us when we were loading up in muskegon at the end of the day come to find out he had an sxr and wanted to ride later in the week lol he said it was okay to ride the beach just stay away from swimmers im sure if you contacted the local PD and asked them what the rules are on the beach they would be more than happy to fill you in

I do not live in michigan that was a few years ago, I have family in Spring Lake, Grand Rapids and GH I go out to coast gaurd every year its always a good time! They are still availible I will be coming out that way for coast gaurd again this year could throw them on the truck!! @schicks
