Neighbor of mine lost two skis on Saturday in the rocks. I thought it would be a fun idea to pull the chunks up the breakwall while getting pounded by waves.

He showed up to help me and my friend. 3 hours later, a tow strap, and two ratchet straps later it was out. I kept the engine and my neighbor got his new Solas prop back :)

I slept most of the day today. Completely sore and bruised up.

Not sure on the specifics, but there was a SeaDoo and a Wave Venture. The Seadoo stopped then they tried to tow it with the WV but the rope got sucked into the prop so the WV went down also. The guy was barely able to make it up the rocks and the other person was picked up by another waverunner. Waves were even bigger on Saturday so they were lucky to escape with only bruises.

I was on my side of Lake Michigan on Saturday and the waves looked a lot like the ones in your recent pictures - non existent. Still fun to be on a big lake compared to a smaller inland one.

Cool pics, looks like you were having a blast! I'd put a foot strap in the back of that FX asap and do the wide tray this winter, but thats just me! ;)

I lived in Kenosha for almost a year, about 300 yards from the water (I could see the water crashing from my front door.)
Those rocks (they're man made from Cement if I recall) are no joke! They're like the size of a Smart car, but all piled up.

Unbelievable how demolished that ski was but i'm glad you got the hardware back.

BTW, I snooped through the other pics in that directory. Whoever is taking pics of you does great work. Any idea what kind of setup they have?
