As of today looks like I can go does anyone have a spot for a small tent for Fri-sun ?

We only have 6 peeps on our spot. The tent my wife and I are using goes in the bed of my pu truck-ie-leaves more room on tent pad. The other 4 peeps in our group will be in 2 tents. Only prob is we will have 3 trucks w/ski trailers
parked at site. If u don't mind having to park in the parking lot we have available room for 2 peeps. 8 is the max peeps per sight if I understand it
correctly. I am gonna b there bout 4pm Thursday.

I have some questions.....

How much gas are you allowed to take with you in the US??

And what about the houseboat, can I bring the beer there, as you re not allowed to have it on the campground?? Who do I have to talk to for that??

How about ski's getting stolen???? We had that in Germany twice at similar but way smaller events..... I m a very firendly person but I think I would have to shoot somebody when I d see him trying to take my ski.

I don't know about the gas thing... I am sure you can get it 5-15 minutes away. I wouldn't worry about your skis.. but I am at least strapping mine down.

just keep the beer out of site and get it to the house boat. They will make a pass thru the campground in the evening checking coolers.
I ususally keep the beer cooler out of site and show them the "Visiblecooler" that has food and cokes in it.

As for the ski's, ive been doing Lanier rides for 4 years now ( as many as 9 each summer) and never had anything come up missing.

If you are concerned, check with the DOT, but I think the limit is 15 gallons without a permit and licenses.
