Way to dig up this drama thread,since you have though.I will be starting back on my Laserjet project in a few weeks,the X2 is pretty much wrapped up , I am defoaming the 300sx and replumbing the rear exhaust and some of the cooling and bilge lines,no biggie there.After that I am on the Laserjet like a monkey on crackrock.What about you Kx 454?

I think the F-15 I have can only weighs like 250ish lbs.. make sure to reinforce the bulk head really good (as you can see from the pic) they break easy there cause the hull is made out of old taco shells with paper mache' for glue..

I think the 440 style pump is a weak link for the thrust needed for freestyle.. When i had mine running for those 5 min it had good top end but the mod pjs 550 didn't have too much snap ( the 800 will solve that ).

Im going to give mine one more kick at fixing the drive line.. I rebuilt it and had the coupler 1/4" too low to the motor mounts, so i have to trim and shim the motor into place so there's no pressure on the driveline..

If you can fit in an sxr pump, shaft and motorthen reinforce the crap outa it i think it will be a BR machine.. plus the solar panel in the HP is pretty handy

I did the 300sx 62t/61x superjet conversion, and man WOW!!! I now will be selling my SJ hull.

and it's a round nose!!! you can't match the way 253lbs with gas feels compared to my round nose at say 345 with gas.
