Custom/Hybrid Last ditch effort to get on water for fall.

Started as outlaw hull. Took all mounts out cut out pump tunnel. Widened it! Moved it back 4 inches. Shortened skis 3 inches. Reinforced sides. Rockered nose. Added foam parabolic sides. Glasses. Now just need to glue mounts in and reinforce. Then reconstruct tray. 3in exhaust tube. Just trying to make a decent freestyle with what I have. Stay tuned. Will be fun build.

Oh ok for a second I thought it looked like the stuff from home depot. Looks like a fun project. So you started with an aftermarket hull?

Yes it started as outlaw hull. Just short rockered sj carbon glass hybrid tho. The only thing it lacked was the pump wasn't setback as far as I wanted and I didn't want to shorten the ski any more than I did so I cut the pump tunnel out, widened it and glasses it 4 inches back. The bulkhead was also 4 in farther forward than normal so I moved that back giving me proper driveshaft to midshaft length. In process of making bulkhead tonight. Also by moving bulkhead backward it now gave me a ton of room. Fits stock sj tank easy. I also rocketed nose a ton. The nose needs to be finished and the tray and bulkhead. Besides that glue in mounts and it'll be done.

Those sides look pretty cool and I like the idea of moving the pump and engine back 4 inches. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
