noticed Sunday morning that my carb was leaking fuel from the diaphragm cover - as I take it apart, is there anything I should look for as the cause?

clean the surfaces real good and put a new diaphragm in...i had the same problem a while ago

diaphram and also change your fuel filter mine was dirty so it let dirt in and messed up my diaphram

A lot of times you will get a buildup of corrosion or fuel residue in the groove that the diaphragm fits into,make sure it is spotlessly clean and hold the diaphragm up to a light or Sun if its out and look for pinholes.

and this leaking fuel would have caused my ski to run like ass I'm guessing.

Hate to revive this thread but i've been looking under every rock i can think of... I have the same problem and is there anywhere where i can purchase the diaphragm without the entire rebuild. Only place i saw them was on good ol' fleabay for $18
