I have heard the buzz about the new 155 long blade prop so lets hear some opinions on them good or bad.

One thing i have heard is the pitch sizing of a long blade is not the same compared to the pitch of a swirl prop.

Im assuming the long blade will need a lower prop pitch due to the added load to the longer blade?

Any thoughts on this?

When you say "new 155 longblade" whats new to you?
I have a longblade skat trak 155 in my setup now, because a got a good deal on it. Should i buy a brand new impeller, i think i would go for normal big hub swirl. (the longblade with all options is 600usd+).
That being said, im running 13/18 longblade, thinblade, cut back (spaced as close to veins as possible) and pretty tight tolerance to the wearring (cant remember the number in my head) on my ET1107 setup and it runs really strong.
Gonna pitch up soon :)

I was just curious how they perform compared to standard swirl props. I heard the hook up is better for combos but i hear there expensive as you mentioned. I hear you will need less pitch on a long blade compared to a standard prop but that doesnt sound true if your 1107 is turning a 13/18 as thats about the same pitch i will be running in my dasa 1200. Im going with a standard 13/19 SB. Do you feel the performance is worth the additional cost? Thxz

Well the pitch of the impeller really depend on the riders level (and im by far not a pro)
But i know at least 3 guys in 900 comp setups that are running pitch above my setup, in 155 mag also ;)
I also know that Art from ET reccomends 8/16 for the 1107 155 pump.
Have you tried a steeper pitch for your dasa 1200?

Im running a 11/17 at the moment its pretty decent but can pull more. Its my dasa 1100 prop. Just upgraded motors a week ago. My 13/19 will be here in a week.
