Rage composites works brawler hull

This arrived this week from Brian and Josh.
image.jpgimage.jpg

The hull Weighs 63 lbs
Arrived in white gel coat
the top deck looked almost perfect , I spent maybe 20 minutes wet sanding the top deck . The hood will need a little bit more sanding down . Hopefully if all goes well ill drop it off at the painter mid week.
At this point I am planning on painting her BANG red. With black diamond turf.

The plans are almost a straight swap from my superjet. T/x motor, head,b pipe,44's, cats trim, blah blah
I need to buy a smaller fuel tank as the stock tank will not fit and probably a x metal water box . I may be able to modify factory pipe water box .

Brian was great through the entire hull construction updating all the time with pictures and progress.q They even installed plumbing inside the rear of the hull for hot foot mod . And installed my epic scupper.
All inserts came with hardware ,(motor mounts, pump ,ride plate midshaft.)which was a nice surprise .
they included additional inserts so I can install fuel and water box where I need them .
New style adjustable ride plate is being tweaked and will ship to me soon.

I have loved the looks and design of this hull from the beginning from nickwad. And anxious to ride the hull.
Having a Stunt hull , I really like the ride and feel of a short light hull , I don't enjoy riding my superjet much anymore it seems to long and heavy . With the difference in weight and hull shape I know I will be happy with the feeling of more power from the Motor from the superjet in the new hull .

I see yours has the provisions for the extendable ride plate. Got any pics of the plate? I think it's a killer idea.

Glad it arrived safe, I hear you had to add a new driver tip to get the box open. Can't wait to see some paint on it.
I hear your the responsible party for the torx bit. I have multiple bits of every Torx size, it's just funny that I thought about it , and brought a drill with me and thought .....they used Phillips head. Why wouldn't they.? I actually had to look for the Phillips bit ...
I wanted to look at the hull at the shippers . Had to wait a bit Not that big of a deal

Ya I just happened to have a box of those deck screws around, figured why not they are stronger than drywall screws. You'll be able to open your next box with a pocket knife for instant gratification. Lol

I got to see this thing in person tonight. Very nice! Pumped for chad to get this thing together! You don't have an excuse to not get it done asap since you're done with my ski ;)
