I'm thinking about trading in for a new hood, and was seeking what hoods you guys liked best for freestyle. havent had a chance to ride many yet. They all seem pretty much the same, what makes one hood better than another? (nicely balanced for hoodtricks, low profile, good airflow, lightweight, durable, shape)?

I'v herd good things about the old 24-7 hood, but i cant find any info on them anymore b/c of the change. I also remember seeing something about a new style 24-7 hood, but again cant find any info on them.

I know the WDK hood is the cheapest out, but see that the hood liners are coming out:frown:

Wammer hood, anyone prefer like them?

XFC? yeah the look kick ass, but are they good for hoodtricks and have nice handhold placement?

does lightweight.de sell only hoods? any reviews on them?

I have a wammer 2 hold hood, and I have to say I would never get another one under any circumstance what so ever. The things has seperated several times now, I have to constantly keep re-epoxying back together. I am not that hard on my ski, and am a freek about taking care of my stuff, there is no reason why this would happen. Will be trying Steve at the watercraft factory for the next one, i've met him a few times riding with Pat, seems like a cool guy. If not him then next choice would be Mark at 24/7 . Blowsion supposedly has a good product, but i dont know anyone that has one so I cant say anything about it.

Bronson? where are you? This might be a little off question but my SXR hood by Trinity Composites rules everything.. I cant say enough about the part.. PM Trinity on here and see what he has cooking for the SJ in the form of a hood..
