Thanks Kurtis, this Blaster was imported from California to Aus mid last year. As the new owner wanted to mainly surf ride, it was sent to me with instructions to make it surf capable. Under the hood was a healthy 701 twin carb running a Factory Mod pipe and a TDR water box. The water sucking pod filters were dispatched to the bin and a set of Surf boxes fitted. The only other thing I needed to do to the motor was fit a decent flush system. I added a set of Dual hood struts, a H-D hinge and a hood seal. With the motor bay sorted, I then made sure that his transom was going to be protected from catching a bad case of CRACK. A carbon wrapped Transom plate was fitted and a Surf Wedge to protect the bond line. To keep the engine bay dry, a pair of Surf Plugs were installed. A quick D-cut on the ride plate and the Blaster rear was complete. The customer opted for a Black Reaper QuickSteer and a set of Mega Fat bars. For surf riding, anyone running a Surf Rocker will tell you its a must. It changes your Blaster from average in the surf to awesome. A set of Blaster Surf Straps were fitted and the seat was given the 701 mod treatment. Some decals were added and this ski was a wrap. Nothing better than going out in the surf knowing you are on a ski that has been modded to make your freeride session the best it can be.
