They are both great spots to ride. The only drawback is we have a shorter season up here in the northeast.

Our lakes Charter is "Public recreational facilty". There are 3 public boat ramps. After 48 years they started charging this year. There is one draw back. of these. almost 26 years ago one had somewhat of a beach area. They came in and poured out huge rocks. No place to pull up ski's. The one I go do, is all rock, but you can put a scissor stand if you can find the right spot. but because people go to other lakes and do not clean their boats, this wild green water grass has taken over.

Kingsley Lake, FL. This is one of the clearest and cleanest lakes in Florida. Half the lake is civillian and the other half is owned by the military. It is restricted access but still gets busy.

Lake Simcoe - Its a 35 sec drive with the ski on the hitchhauler (unstrapped) from water to driveway. Had some waves this day so didn't really pay attention to the gas situation.

Dunedin Cswy near Honeymoon island just north of Clearwater. Lots of El Niño surf since November, yesterday was chest high and clean. We are getting cold fronts every few days that bring decent fun surf for the west coast standards.
