First ride today. For the first time ever I don't need to mod it to go any faster or have any more power. If only jet skis were that easy.

My 06 rev 440/800 mod. Wheelies like crazy, favorite sled I have ever built. Perfect sled for the UP because you can still halfway trail ride it, and do all the fun off trail stuff.

Im jelous. Thats exactly what i want to build. The rev 440 chassis seems to be the perfect all around sled. Especially for my riding style. I was thinking about the polaris IQr, but seems like itd be a pain to ride in the trails. How hard and how much was the 800 swap if you dont mind me asking?

It's right around 130. I picked it up for $800 and it came with a brand new OEM track. I am working on installing the track and cleaning the carb/fuel pump. It's kick start only. I was fortunate enough to find one 5 minutes away.

Talking with a couple buddies and thinking about making a trip up to Houghton friday after work. I checked the trail reports and they are rated "fair" with only a few inches of base but I think it might be worth a shot to try getting some miles on before we do a trip up to Newberry.
