So i dont know how many of you have noticed this, but i had a buddies new style PFP system laying around (2016 year) and i thought i felt heavier than my old style (2011/2012 year, from Mark Baxter - no spot welds, no cracks)
So today i took out my chamber and weighed it, and also weighed the new chamber. And i was right i was heavier, actually quite a bit. 1kg or 2.2lbs.
i donna if they used thicker materials on the newer chambers, its almost a 30% increase in weight.

are the older style ones good? I have a chance to upgrade to a older PFP from my bpipe but scared it will crack or is already cracked.

@eastbay i think there is no real answer to that, other than no matter what the key is to align the pipe setup 100% and support and strap it down secure.
My PFP is the old style and i have never had any issue.
But I've heard old styles crack, newer style with spot welds from max baxter crack, and hear about the Scream version crack.
