LiPo Battery Charger Recommendation

Well, I just purchased my first LiPo battery and was wondering what everyone recommends for a charger. I hear these are very sensitive to charging and I would hate to ruin a good battery right away. Are chargers specific to the brand of batteries? If I got an antigravity charger does it only work with antigravity batteries or if I got a ballistic charger could I only use it on a ballistic?

I have an Antigravity charger I use on my Earth X battery, but it's a pretty cheaply made charger, I had to replace the cord end on it after a short time. I've heard the Optimate Lithium charger is a good one.

Chargers any kind of battery, at any current up to 10 amps. Runs off a 12 volt power source, so I use one of my AGM batteries. But that means it's easier to get a quick charge at the beach or ramp though.

The optimate lithium is working well for me. A little pricey but worth it imo

You will need a "rc" type charger for LIPO's. I use them in my rc boats etc, and unless your charger has a voltage cutoff you will make the battery catch fire if overcharged. Lipo's also go up in flames if discharged too quickly. (no joke). They are great batteries with weight to power ratio, but voltages have to be watched when charging.
