D, I cannot thank you enough - this ski is
GORGEOUS!
Swanny - good eye - yes, it's inspired by the flick "Surf's Up" which was Daylite's idea. The original plan was to do a take off on the title character's design (hibiscus flowers) in black and white with hot pink accents.
While I loved the concept, I'm not a big "flowers on my ski" kinda girl. I actually rented the movie so I could get a flavor for what he was trying to convey, and that's when I fell in love with the color combination and the tribal-like design for the film's villan (so that ought to make you feel good about yourself Mr. Tut
)
As luck would have it, one of my biggest sponsors is Liquid Militia Core Wear, and their logo is a wave which looks very much like the tribal waves Daylite incorporatd into this paint scheme. The back quarter's of the ski will soon sport custom Liquid Militia graphics, and
www.stickerpimp.com is doing up something special for the number plate to top off this amazing paint job.
I can hardly wait to see the finished product in person tomorrow. My heartfelt thanks to Daylite (and Dayton Feedeck for assistance) in putting together such a masterpiece. You are the bomb!

PS: Here's what he started with - HUGE improvement!
