Im Just blabbering!!!!!!!! The Weight Offset makes them equal. I still prefer the SXR.
Yes. The rules are written to exclude total-loss setups like the larger MSD system or anything that changes your flywheel/pickup/front cover setup (ie: 760 electronics). Anything that replaces the OEM CDI 1:1 without mods will pass tech. An Enhancer is considered a 1:1 swap and therefore legal.Just to verify MSD enhancer is legal correct?
10.8.2 The original electronic control unit may be modified or aftermarket so long as it does not offer any additional inputs or outputs than the original unit, and it must connect with the original connections. No additional sensors may be added (e.g., exhaust gas temperature, detonation sensors, etc.). Engine temperature sensors may be disabled.
but is it legal to run those cases?64V - 700 cases require no mods for a 760 cyl to slide right on. xl 700 cases i'm sure
Yes it is legal to run the 760 cyl, on the newer Superjets they come with the v cases that clear the sleeves.
Msd enhancer is also legal
Stop going up on your main
Your main might not be the issue. If you haven't lowered your popoff pressure then that could be part of it. What are your full jetting specs?I have a lean hesitation ever since I removed choke plates so kinda have to mess with the main.

If you haven't changed the seat and spring then you'll probably want to try a 2.0 and 95g to see if that helps.
So what I am interested in is the two/four sponson rule. So maybe I'm thick, but what does 'models homologated in quantities of 500' mean? They were running four sponsons in my limited class at WF.
Lites: Models homologated in quantities of 500 shall be allowed an additional set of sponsons for a total of four sponsons. The total sponson length shall be limited to 1,524 mm (60 in) in a single or two sponson configuration. The decision of the Technical Director and/or Race Director regarding modifications will be final. Any question regarding the legality of modifications should be directed to the IJSBA or IJSBA affiliate prior to use in competition.
Limited: Ski PWC Homologated under 4.1.2 Only (500 Units): If a model has not had the hull updated for greater than five years then all updated year models shall be allowed an additional set of sponsons for a total of four sponsons. The total sponson length shall be limited to 1,524 mm (60 in) in a single or two sponson configuration. The decision of the Technical Director and/or Race Director regarding modifications will be final.
