It gets confusing. Now there is no Hydro's or SXR's allowed. Even reading the rulebook it is confusing (IJSBA)

That is the new Rule Frazier implemented. In a sport that is barely hanging on. Frazier is just turning more people away.

Stock class had the funky "within 3 years" rule. Stock class allows 4 strokes. Lites means 2 stroke only up to 850cc.

The class rules themselves are very similar

You can use both front and rear sponsons in lites class. It's an appendix of the rulebook. Nearly every ski on the line has both

I use a set of modified pro watercraft rear sponsons on the sxr and I really like them. Hopefully equal results will be achieved on the superjet

Hmm. The 2016 rule book said front or rear.

Ski Lites is based off of OEM Ski PWC with a maximum of 85 Horsepower as furnished by the
manufacturer.

How are the rear sponsons if you have to ride your race ski as a rec boat too? Meaning does it take the fun out of stuff if you're just messing around?

Wont slide out as much unless you keep the hull flat.
